Dynamiq Yachts is collaborating with RINA Services, one of the world’s leading classification and certification societies, to ensure that all of its yachts are built with maximum respect to the environment and the highest comfort standards.
Sergei Dobroserdov, CEO of Dynamiq, and Michele Francioni, CEO of RINA Services, signed the agreement during the 25th Monaco Yacht Show.
“Dynamiq’s brand promise is that you are getting the most technologically advanced superyacht platform that you can customise to the smallest detail. ‘Most advanced’ today means two things: ultimately comfortable and respectful to the environment. RINA Services created very clear standards of how this can be achieved; therefore, our choice was predetermined,” says Dobroserdov.
All Dynamiq yachts will comply with RINA’s Green Plus notation, which certifies the highest standard of environmental friendliness. The certification utilises an environmental performance index that considers the impacts a yacht has on the air and sea. This index takes into account 12 main sources of pollution, including carbon emissions, greenhouse gases, pollutants, and particulates. Dynamiq’s grand touring superyachts are built with light-weight, fuel-efficient aluminium hulls, reduce air-conditioning loads thanks to innovative laminated glass, and feature advanced technologies applied to emissions control and waste management. Thus, they comfortably exceed the standards set by international regulations and, hence, are being awarded the RINA Green Plus class notation.
Furthermore, Dynamiq’s yachts will receive the RINA Comfort Class notation, which is awarded to yachts that produce extremely low levels of noise and vibration for their occupants. For Dynamiq, onboard comfort is paramount. Thus, following intensive research and the resulting state-of-the-art solutions, it created the 39-meter Jetsetter, a nearly silent yacht with exceptional acoustic and vibrational comfort. The yacht’s innovative podded propulsion system from Fortjes is particularly noteworthy, resulting in less noise and vibration when underway than conventional shaft and prop systems.
The 39-meter Jetsetter is the first Dynamiq superyacht meeting RINA Green Plus and RINA Comfort class standards. It is under construction and due to be delivered in early September 2016.
